Harry Kane: The Unluckiest player ever?

England Men’s Team Captain, PFA Young Player of the year, World cup golden boot winner, two-time Premier League top scorer and soon-to-be Bundesliga goal king. Yet, not a single team trophy in sight.

By now, you’ve heard the jokes. You’ve probably laughed them off but in all seriousness, could Harry Kane truly be cursed? Let’s look into it.

Did you know that Harry Kane started his career as a youth player in Arsenal’s Academy?
It’s true. But it didn’t quite work out for him as he was quite chubby and not very athletic. He was released after only one season. Afterwards, he had a failed trial at Tottenham and then at Watford. Watford put him on trial for 6 weeks but Tottenham came back for him after he impressed playing for Watford against them. At 16, he signed a scholarship contract with Tottenham setting him up to become the player he is today.

  1. Bringing harry kane and Guerrero to Munich… what could go wrong. I told it all the tim I swear even before the season started .. I mean it's not over for Bayern but damn it looks bad. Very bad

If kane gets injured (god forbid) bayern is in deeeeep chits

  2. As if the madness wasn't enough, Son Heung-Min is still yet to win any kind of major silverwares, just like Harry Kane! Son might have won the Asian Games gold medal back in 2018 with South Korea, but that one isn't quite prestigious compared to the Asian Cup, where the country is literally cursed like England, since their last Asian Cup victory was in 1960s. South Korea had recently failed to win the Asian Cup in Qatar, losing 0-2 to an unexpected Jordan side that won "uncrowned Asian Cup winners" due to the fact Qatar had only won the tournament by referee decision. Son had even lost the Asian Cup Final back in 2015 to Australia, and you guess who's the Socceroos manager at that time? The current Spurs manager Ange Postecoglu!
