Jurgen Klopp’s First-Ever Liverpool Line-Up: Where Are They Now?

We’re in Jurgen Klopp’s last few months and we’re all so emotional about the German leaving the Premier League. He obviously did an amazing job during his years at Liverpool.
He really transformed Liverpool and his team looks nothing like what he inherited from Brendan Rogers

This is Jurgen Klopp’s first ever Liverpool lineup and where they are right now. The front line will really shock you.
In goal was Simon Mignolet. The Belgian was on the bench when Liverpool won the Champions League in 2019, and left that summer.
He then went back to Belgium and joined Club Brugge where he currently plays.

At right back was Nathaniel Clyne. The English defender joined Liverpool a few months before Klopp did and he remained at the club until 2019 when he joined Bournemouth on loan before moving back to Crystal Palace where it all started for him.
His current contract with Palace runs out this summer, so we’ll only have to wait and see if he’ll extend, leave his boyhood club.

  1. James Milner is a Premiership Legend without doubt. The must trustworthy member of any squad he was a part of. As for Jordan Ibe, that really shocked me. I was certain at one point he was on his way to become somthing seriously special he looked really promising at one point and I was surprised he was sold to Bournemouth ( my home team ) But to have now be playing non league proves I know FA about football.

  2. Generally sad for the players that left in their prime. Especially Coutinho. I don't know why he failed at Barca. Were they still playing tiki-taka, while he was more accustomed to Liverpool's more direct style? Milner will play somewhere till he's 50.
