  1. I wish people would stop going on about what Pep could do with this England team. When your club is a bunch of cheating bastards that's created billions for transfer funds/players salaries out of fake sponsorship deals it's easy to be successful. Could Pep have kept Sheffield Utd up last season…?

  2. Everyone saying we shouldn't move Bellingham. Look at his game against Serbia. He was playing alongside Rice and winning the ball alongside him. Move him back, put Foden into the number 10 and play Eze or Gorodn on the LW

  3. If Southgate doesn't change the England team for the next game I'm supporting San Marino, even though they're not in the tournament! Trent and Foden shouldn't be in that team. Without Pep to direct him, Foden is lost. Trent isn't solid enough to play midfield. Gallagher/Mainoo and Gordon/Palmer should replace them.

  4. I think Southgate is doing the right thing. It's Foden who needs to adapt to the left wing position it not like he can't play that position. Foden is one of the most versatile footballers out there. Foden needs to adapt that's what makes a special player apart from a good player.

  5. Why is dunk in the squad instead of tomari.
Why is there 2 inexperienced international players on the left and players whon have done well for England not picked rashford, sterling grealish.
Why is Henderson not in the squad hes done nothing wrong with England and could have played a part.
This squad of players is unbalanced.

  6. Pep would win with those players. While I don't disagree I don't see how you could say that with certainty. He's obviously a very good manager, if not the best of all time. But he has his players 6-8 months of the year. He doesn't really play conventional systems. Is he going to be able to implement his ideas in 6-8 weeks of the year? Some players go there and barely play for a season as they have to adapt to his way of doing things? Then there's the fact that each season he spends substantial sums of money improving his team.

Would be interesting to see him in an international job, but I can't see him doing it.

  7. Just drop rice and play wharton in that position. Rice is the problem thats nobody sees. He only make safe pass to make the stats look nice for himself. too slow in releasing the ball when they have chance to counter. Plse watch how he play not the stats. I am very sure england will not win euro with him but at least in wharton they got better chance.

  8. Centre mids can get into the box. Steve late. Bellingham is smart enough to know when to sit and when to push on. He’s such a powerful runner with the ball… from deep is where you are getting the most out of him. Picking up the ball from the back 4 and driving into the opposition, other than his goal, was where he excelled on Sunday.

ATM we have 3no. 10’s all getting in each others way, Foden, Bellingham and Kane. Southgate needs to grow a pair and assign clear roles… Kane has to stay on the last man. I don’t want to see him dropping. Couldn’t care less how many touches he doesn’t have. Either that or hook him for Watkins or Toney.

Whatever Southgate decides to do with Bellingham and Foden… Mainoo in or out… Gordon has to start on the left. There was a gaping hole on that side of the pitch the other night and that tells me one thing… Serbia couldn’t care less to mark it. They knew nothing was going that route. If nothing more, Gordon makes us predictable. Forces their right to play more cautiously. Gordon is also our only wide man who’s going to feed off of the ball in behind. Again, we’re adding more flexibility into our play. Sort it out Southgate!

  9. England’s squad is not as well rounded as France’s or Portugal’s. It’s probably on a par with the Germans. Doesn’t mean we can’t win it… but Southgate managing does!

  10. Southgate is not good enough as a manager, play players in their best positions, Foden number 10 or bench him and I’m a city fan. He looks lost on the left wandering inside looking for the ball, very ineffective. TTA again is not good enough in centre midfield, yes he can spray a pass now and again but that’s not enough, his awareness of players and situations is pretty poor. For me and it seems most fans and pundits is Rice holding Bellingham as an 8 who can support attack and defend and Foden 10 behind Kane then Gordon out on the left. I still think not having Grealish as a different option to Gordon is a big mistake.
