  1. she was better than any other midfield player she was one of the best in the world. The hate she got from nwsl fans was embarrassing but the league did nothing. I was a Courage season ticket holder saw it 1st hand

  2. While Jaelene Hinkle's refusal to wear the rainbow-numbered jersey attracted a lot of attention (from both supporters and critics), it was not why she was cut from the U.S. team. The 2019 U.S. women's soccer team was loaded with talent, and there wasn't room for everybody. What ultimately cost her a spot on the team was her lack of versatility. She only plays one position, left back. Crystal Dunn, who is a better player than Hinkle, is the starting left back for the U.S. The U.S. also had Ali Krieger, Tierna Davidson & Emily Sonnett, three other players who can play left back, as well as other positions. Every player on the U.S. bench, except the two goalies, could play more than one position. Hinkle was a one-position player, and she got cut.

  3. She was called up in May of 2018 and declined the offer because she didn't want to wear the rainbow jersey during pride month. Her own words.

2 months later she was called back up for the Tournament of Nations and wasn't named to the final roster because she wasn't good enough.

She was never cut for not wanting to wear the rainbow numbers.

  4. Why is the National Soccer Team taking either side of the issue? This is a soccer team not a political party.
Now have the soccer team wear a Pro-Life jersey and see what Liberals have to say. ALL hell would break loose.

  5. Hinkle decided her religiously based prejudices and homophobia were more important to her that team unity. Disrespecting your teammates will get you cut from any sports team no matter how good you are. Can you imagine a Caucasian player for a baseball, football, or basketball team saying the Black players don't deserve equal rights? How do you think that would play with their Black teammates?

  6. She chose not to play because of the jerseys. She was given another tryout but was cut – HINT: She was not the only player cut. It happens. Crystal Dunn a defender for the 2019 World Cup Champs, was the last person cut from the 2015 World Cup roster.

ALSO – there are other Christians on the team that are very vocal about their faith.

  7. Soccer Player Hinkle was kept off the U.S. soccer team unjustly. Prejudice and discrimination are the names of the game being played by the hypocrite Dem soccer team. There needs to be a religion-discrimination law suit filed against the team for their hypocrisy in this case.

  8. I don't have any problem with any one whatever he or she wants to identify himself as or what thier religion view are but if they try to force it on me or someone forcefully it makes me angry and instead of accepting them as they are or their belive it make me hate them….

  9. Same concept If you can't force anyone at school to pray, actually you can't even pray at public school anymore or have them stand up and put their hand on their chest to say the pledge of allegiance etc. etc. then what got dam right does Team USA have to make people wear that Rainbow shit…????

  10. I thought the Christianity was strongest above anything else in the US, but I guess it's not that any more. HBTQ wins even there. I'm very suprised. The political correctness is stronger than God, Jesus and the bible.

  11. The USWNT does NOT even celebrate black player's day or white player's day or cinco de mayo or feminist or whatever… why even start supporting homosexuality? the gay mafia is taking over all areas of your life… think 1932 Nazi ideology…. SMH
