Giving you an insight into all things BADMINTON!
Please take a look at the japanese concept of "batsuju" (channel: Hoshina Training Studio). What we call a split step, actually exists in martial arts. It's dropping the centre of gravity and stepping towards the opposite direction. Without it, the force would propel us upwards instead
Thank you for teaching me❤
Oh wow! Soooo I've been doing it wrong all these years!?!?! I always landed them at the same time! THX man!
😔😔
And my other friends
Because I work hard for badminton alone
Please write me a training schedule of 3 hours and how many sets to do.
useful when anticipating but I don't think this applies for singles defensive situations (after hitting a lift or clear, when your opponent is in a position to smash)
Love from India❤❤
Wow…❤❤❤❤❤
Great tip!! I'm starting to get my split step timing right but wasn't moving very smoothly. This seems to be the solution for it. Thank you 🙏
Lol i was just figuring out that myself last night… now i see this video… scary
Good observation ☝️
Will practice, thnx
So good!!! 👍🏼
Thats a very good tip
Brilliant insight thank you!!!
Great tip for meee! I always do split step by landing 2 feet at the same time, wondering why it's hard for me to defense the smash close to the line. Well now i know the reason and how to improve. Thank you for the tip😉✌️
underranted tip. I SMASHED the subscribe button as hard as I could as soon as I could after seeing this 🙂
Okay this makes sense but I suck lol
Plot twist:he slips fall to his death
this makes so much sense!
For starters, land racket hand side first. Until U can late n shift bodyweight to non master racket leg first. If U can do this, U will be way faster than most club players..then start looking at which foot to land first based on where the shot is going. Few can do cos it requires looks of practice as the timing must be perfect in a very short window.
"Or one that's sinking downwards " 😂
What if in defensive position?
Simple concept but so hard to master. Thank you for the tips.😊
Thank you for the tip 👍
You save my ankle 😀
