The point isn’t that she has to wear the hair covering. I have my own opinions about that just like many do. But think of it not as some huge political thing but just one very personal moment. How would you feel, as a woman, in the West if your shirt just popped all the way open in a crowd? That’s how *that*girl felt at that moment; embarrassed and vulnerable. It doesn’t matter if you think she shouldn’t feel that way or that it’s wrong to feel that way – that is how she felt. And the other women shielded her in camaraderie. And that is beautiful.
