  1. Tim forgot to mention that his parent company Rogers didn’t care to broadcast or try and build and interest. At least with One soccer we know where to get decent coverage, instead just 20 seconds of coverage a month from sportsnet.

  2. 80% share is ridiculous, and giving 40% of the men's bounty to the women is even more ridiculous. And to shut down a game after fans have traveled cross country to attend, is arrogant. Yes the CSA seems a little bush-league, but after all , they have a bush league budget and frankly bush league teams for a long time. And don't forget their only support comes from an intellectually and morally changed Federal government top to bottom. Sorry the players do not get a pass from me and the women should get out of the way in 2022. They can resume discussions about their ridiculous claim for pay equity in 2023.

BTW – offering 60% to the players is very fair and better than many soccer federations offer their players. If the men want to give half of that to the women, stop whinning that you're not getting enough. We need a well-funded CSA and CSB.

  3. Leaders Don't make Excuses, they Look for Alternatives… Kit Redesign, Market a Kit Canadians actually would be Proud of, to Generate the Revenue after you pay the Players. Canada Soccer Marketing is Lacking… we've got the Exposure, now's the time. If you're reading this… would You Rather have a Bayern Davies kit, or a Canada Kit?… right. because the Bayern isn't a Yoga Tshirt.

  4. Well said. Lack of communication, transparency and preparation are huge factors here. Get this crap together asap 🍁⚽️. Don't lose the incredible momentum that both the CMNT & CWNT have accomplished this past year.

  5. How can they earn respect when they do not respect the fans. I thought it was about heart and soul and playing for the badge. Shame on them. Are the players not multi millionaires any way?

  6. Love Tim's closing comments. Its a shame the business of sports has to overshadow the passion. No guarantees but, I think like Tim said the potential for big pay days in the future is being put at risk by a lack of foresight on both sides of the table.
