  1. I think part of the problem was coach kept putting Heber in the 9 position even though Heber continuously failed to score. Now that Heber is gone this shouldn't be an issue this season. Also, it sounds like Ruidiaz might be back in his usual scoring form. Add in all our new signings and I'm looking forward to this coming season.

  2. There's going to be a lot of shifting around with the front 4. Morris to the right wing when they want the threat of Ruidiaz and Roldan can get a rest, De la Vega to the center when they want to expose space on the left wing with Chu and Rusnak can get a rest, not to mention Musovski coming on with fresh legs when things get chippy and they need a guy who can frustrate the opponent. I don't see this being a year where they put out the same starting XI week after week, and very few attacking players are going to play the full 90 regularly. There are going to be a lot of moving pieces, especially after the weird preseason they just had which left them with more questions than answers up front.
As for the defense, it's looking as reliable as ever, and I loved the shout-out this program gave to Frei, who is the rock-solid foundation upon which this team has been built for years now, and whom I shall never ever take for granted no matter how consistently well he performs.

  3. few things to mention regarding this wreck of a preview

    1) no one was excited or interested in Morris up top because no one knew he was going to be there….Rui being out most of the year made it a necessity

    2) You all are acting like 23 is some crazy age. That getting into prime years for soccer. Now if they were relaying on him and he was 17,18,19…..id be more worried

    3) Again…we were most productive with Morris up top because Rui was never on the field and never got the chemistry going all year

    4) De la Vega isn't starting in the beginning of the season. That will be Chu's spot for a bit. Coaching staff have already mentioned multiple times they are going slow with integrating DlV

    5) JP isn't coming back from ACL injury. Last year was his 1st year back…..

    6) Yes….its PIzza that CR7 loves…..https://twitter.com/bryanbabcock_/status/936690576522485760
