  1. As a lifelong Manchester United supporter, Fergie definitely made a mistake not signing Zidane, not once, but TWICE.

First in the summer of 1996, while Cantona was still playing and about to embark on his last season in football, which he himself didn't knew at the time, years later he lamented in the press, the fact that he could have when been teammate with Zizou at United, and that United scouts went to see Zidane play at Bordeaux, but for some reason, he had an off day on those occasions, in the season where Bordeaux had that amazing run in Europe and where he was turning a free agent in the summer. And secondly, in the summer of 1998 (Zidane admitted in the press that Juventus and Manchester United almost came to an agreement), but the transfer finally fell through.

But ZZ still remains one of the ultimate examples in sports, of how to make difficult things look beautiful and even easy (even if it was not easy).

  2. I remember that head butt and that world cup match he lost. But that guy is a man for protecting his mother's honour against all odds. Nowadays people will call it toxic. I call him honourable he didn't compromise on who he is for anything whether it was a worldcup, admiration or money.

  3. football is a very complicated and wild world. you could be incredible and get lost in the weeds. politics, jealousy, backstabbing etc. this is a story of a man who made it big. you can only imagine the 1000s who will forever remain unknown. it's a very sad world. we only see the polished version on TV. like everything else. it is a beautiful world too, though. I would not want a world without Football.

  5. its sad that nowadays generation has got such a small viewing field and on top of that such a low attention span as well as super low overall interest..i am working with 20yrs old and they dont know John Wayne..or the Beatles..bro you kiddin me? They dont even know the Flintstones, hehe..
jokes aside, there´re soooo many great players and Zidane is my all time favorite..no Ronaldinho, R9, R7, Messi..no..Zizou..his style was just one of a kind..also never angry for his headbutt in the wc final..italy can have it, f**k off.
    But Zizou..Maradona, Pele and Zizou..forever.

  6. please could u do a video on Igor Belanov (Ukraine) not many people know about him The Ukrainian forward won the Ballon d'Or in 1986, but many fans may not be aware of his achievements. or Enzo Scifo An elegant midfielder who played for Anderlecht, Inter Milan, and Bordeaux. Scifo was a key player for Belgium in the 1980s and 1990s.
