  1. "Bishop Nose" tongkeng is chiken butt which usually very tasty through bbq.

For Malaysia Night Market (Pasar Malam), there seems to be like 2 types of them. One is "halal" ones where mostly the sellers are Malay while the other can have "non-halal" where sellers are mixed (Chinese, Malay, Thai, etc). The food they sell are not limited to authentic malaysian food and some food they sell can be different. Quite a lot of food you see can be inspired / innovative ones that even malaysians themselves might not have tried them before.

  2. Nutella vs Keria of course Keria wins! It does smell like maple syrup. It is made from Gula Melaka, local sugar made from the sap of coconut palm tree. I like cooking with gula melaka as it doesn’t have that metallic taste unlike white sugar. It’s also used in Cendol and a lot of desserts in Malaysia.

  3. Thanks for coming in our Country Malaysia. Hopefully pls come again in the next time in Our Malaysia especially here in KL CITY.

  5. Hi Guys, been following you for quite a while now… not quite the beginning, but close!

I must say, you are doing a great job on your video's and the branding that is coming in. It's well thought out, particularly your use of country colors for text in your thumbnails. Small detail but very clever. Well done.

  6. Okay here are some explanations. Mata Kuching literally translates as 'cat's eyes' and it's a small fruit, which looks pretty much like a cats eye hewn you peel off the skin. Asam Boi is a sour drink made of a tamarind-like fruit. Cendol Pak Lah is just the regular cendol. Pak Lah is the nickname of our 6th Prime Minister Abdullah Badawi. I guess the owner of this stall must be a fan. Oren Sunquick is an orange drink which is made of a concentrate. The brand of that concentrate is Sunquick. The ONLY thing orange about that drink is the colour. Besides that, it's just diabetes in a glass.

  7. the sweet potato donut is called 'keria' (pronounced like 'carrier'). it is a mix of orange sweet potato & purple sweet potato dipped into liquid sugar or palm sugar

'Apam Balik' was the name of the crispy crepe. There are 2 types: crispy & fluffy. The fillings are normally sugar, peanut chunks & corn. try the fluffy one next time…
