  1. Not to be a party pooper but why would kids be getting flu shots? I don't know of this being common before COVID. Natural immunity is best. Yes people die from flu if immunosuppressed,, so maybe one could choose this, but this could also cause death in such a person. It seems ridiculous. My 3 kids were vaccinated. I am not anti VAX. My husband and I had 2 jabs in during the alleged (?) pandemic. Got COVID as did non vaxed friends. No more for us. Have immunity. Maybe we need to reconsider this. Let's get sick as is a natural response to viruses.

  2. 28:20 In fairness to Pheidippides, he ran from Athens to Sparta, then to Marathon and fought in the battle, then ran back to Athens. All in all, about 100+ miles of running in 2 days, and not the usual 26.2 miles.

  3. Ofcourse psychiatrists speed. They likely speed to ppl unsure if to stay alive :'3 With surgeons, any person needing surgery, even urgently, will not only have SOME surgeon likely on call in the hospital, but there's an absolute need to attend to all the surgery prep of the patient first and that gives time to surgeons, that psychiatrists do not have. Or so I'd theorise! :'3

  4. My hope for 2024 is that you invest in different microphones – maybe clip on ones so that you don't alway shave to fiddle with them. And maybe move your monitor you are looking at to be more in front of you so that Kristin doesn't have to sit and look sideways from Will. Maybe I wouldn't fixate on this so much if I listened audio only on Spotify but… here we are – on YT. Separate of my weekly critism on this, love love your podcasts.

  5. Dr. Glauc, I thought your mission was to use this platform as an agent of change in medicine. We have a literal genocide going on where the entire healthcare sector of a nation has been purposefully destroyed in full-view of the world, and you haven’t even mentioned it. You literally pay taxes to the same bombs that did this but you haven’t said anything to even suggest that that’s not right. Speak up for Palestine. 30k dead, 12k being kids, needs to be condemned by all humanitarians, and all physicians are humanitarians. Please allow me to continue seeing you as an idol in ophthalmology.
