Awesome. Those were the days. The obsession with " chicks" was overwhelming. Your presentation of that period was fing hilarious. My life was just as socially awkward as yours, except the chicks were chasing me! Being born into a famous family has both benefits and drawbacks – some of the girls were scarily aggressive. A rich family ( who owned their own Academy) sent their daughter to public school just to be around me apparently. She was perfection – but she never talked! That just left the easy girls. By 3rd grade, I was already " going steady" with Pam. By high school, I had so many girls that I got accused of being a flirt. I wasn't. It's hard to keep from admiring all those lovely creatures. When you're a footy, there's way too many girls and too little time . And you can't risk knocking them up. It's like looking through the window of a candy store. The black fellas could get away with it, but we couldn't or the unis might reject us. Most of my girlfriends were afraid of locker room gossip, so most of the time I had to do the nasty with older girls. * Anyway, I loved this chapter – it's one of the most important periods in a young man's life. You're a great story teller – I hate seeing a chapter end. Big Love, Kent
