I’ve reacted to a lot of episodes of Grey’s Anatomy on this channel, and am often compared to Dr. Derek Sheppard (because we both have dark hair, or something), so it only makes sense that now I react to his final episode as a regular character on Grey’s Anatomy, Season 11 Episode 21, How To Save A Life. This one was packed with medical information that was fun to break down, but also quite emotional. Today we talk about trauma injuries from car accidents, dislocated bones and hips, stomach lacerations, the need for CT scans, punctured lungs, checking your pulse, being on call, appropriate behavior during surgery, and end of life care.
I LOVE reading your comments and take your suggestions seriously. If there’s a subject you want me to discuss or something you’d like for me to react to, leave a comment down below. Many of my videos have been born out of suggestions directly from you, so don’t hold back!

I thought if a healthcare worker causes an accident they legally aren’t allowed to do the treatment?
I really hope this never happens to a real person in real life
The only thing I "disagree" about with this video is that Mike makes it sound as though those dumb mistakes don't happen.
I lost one of the people I was closest to after a collision (he was on a 4wheeler and a semi hit him) and guess what? They never ordered a head CT (because apparently he broke his femur [serious injury] so they were more focused on that) and they didn't realize he had an awful bleed in his brain.
So yeah, as much as those things just absolutely should not happen, they can, and they will.
I really want to see him react to her trial when she stood up to him.
Dr mike is super arrogant
this hits hard because my dad is currently in the ICU.
Something astonishing about the truck crash worth pointing out: There's multiple stopped vehicles, emergency vehicles, people around, etc… But the truck driver on a mostly straight road (3:19) was like: "Oh, someone is turning around too slow. I'll just honk my horn and not brake at all. If I crash into that car, that's on him."
Dr mike … You could have put a trigger warning ? I hate blood its super scary and i almst faint
I was playing football I’m stone and I stopped breathing and my toe is somehow broken and a colapsted lung by faling on a a pipe sticking out the ground
you can be brain dead /your heart is still beating
dr mike: "oH nO mCDrEaMy'S gOnNa DiEeEeE"
also dr mike: proceeds to start laughing directlly after
the way he goes oh no mcdreamy is gonna die has me dead on the floor laughing
Derek's "it's too late" line always gets me😢
Bc of how many things were extremely inaccurate in this episode I’m gaslighting myself into believing he is not dead.
WASNT THERE NO RECEPTION WHERE THE CRASH WAS HOW WAS SOMEONE CALLING HIM??
He shouldn’t have pulled the lady out of the car in the first place. She could’ve had some serious injury to her neck or spine
Please silence the gross clips i have sensory issues so the gross clips sounds really bothar me but its fine i should prop just stop watching these vids
The reason that no one calls doctor mike and Mcdreamy look the same is shocking and extremely sad it made me cry.
I know Grey's Anatomy is kind of a train wreck and not very accurate, I also knew Derek's fate a while before watching this episode, but it still had my sobbing
Idk how I watch these sad movies, episodes, etc without crying
