  1. These espn pundits are so anti united that’s it’s a joke. Basic points
    – levy won’t have sold to united
    – Kane is 30 so for a striker I would say another 1-2 years at the top.
    – Cannot compare with casemiro transfer. Defensive mid and cb will have more in their tank to play at the top in comparison to other positions.
    – cannot conveniently interchange euro with pounds to make united transfers expensive 😊

  2. I see craig's going with the 'talking nonsense' approach again this season 🤷 instead of demonstrating some actual football analysis.

    I know….I clicked it….I don't know why I expected anything different….I'm an idiot!

  3. Harry Kane is 30 and already at his peak, so pay more money for a guy who's skills be in decline and there's a solid chance you don't even get his best season… or spend less money and get someone who has the potential to become world class and is already considered to be fairly good? In three years time there's a chance that Kane is vastly different than the player he is today, not everyone is Ronaldo or Messi. In fact English players are known to not take care of their bodies that well.

  4. Why do people feel like it's either Hojlund or Kane? They're both poor ideas. Why United need someone performing worse than Rashford and Martial for £64m+ I do not know. He's hardly an "unproven gamble that might pay off", more of a proven mediocre player. He's netted a few single goals against teams like Monza and Salernitana and internationally against Finland and Kazakhstan. Is that what passes for United striker quality these days? You can say that he's only 20 but at that age Haaland was scoring braces against PSG and Napoli. That is the level of talent United should be chasing. This kid was ineffective against Roma, ineffective against Napoli, ineffective against Juve, ineffective against Sampdoria, ineffective against Milan, ineffective against Inter… 4 assists in the entire season… £64m. Something not right here.

  5. The market for established strikers is shambolic, one Serie A title doesn't make Victor Oshimen worth £150 million, playing every single minute of every single game doesn't make Harry Kane worth £150 million, I'm sure Juve want stupid money for Vlahovic so they didn't really have much choice

  6. We have tried that, remember. Zlatan, Cavani, Ronaldo, Ighalo, Weghorst, Lukaku … none of them worked out. People are writing this kid off way too early. He was signed to be the backup to Zapata, who is a very good player, and by January he had completely kicked him out of the squad. In pretty much half a seasons worth of minutes, he scored 9 goals in the league alone. For his country he has scored more goals than he has played games. Just from using the eye test and watching him play you can see that he is exactly what United need. A strong, fast Striker who leads the line and runs in behind the opposition while maintaining a strong press and being able to interchange with either wing.

A lot of people are going to have egg on their faces when he pops off.

  7. I would love to see these guys get proved wrong….
Of course he is for the future. I would happily invest in young future talent
100mil for Kane with a yr on his contract. Rubbish…
Casemiro was both in coz the dressing room, the team needed a leader…a winner…

  8. Utd have to get the glazers out coz we can’t afford the players we want with these clowns still here. All the transfers on bank credit due to 1 billion in debt. It’s gonna be carnage next season if these greedy non fans stay. It’s gonna become a national issue because games are gonna get called off there will pitch invasions it will make stop oil look like a tea party.

  9. Højlund will make the wingers and offensive midfield better.

I’m sure he well play a lot, probably most of the matches, unless he should get injured.

He will most likely score 15-20 goals, he might even do better.

Kane were never a possibility, Spurs simply would not sell to a PL club no matter what.

Højlund isn’t Håland, but he is a lot better then you give him credit for.

Sure he will have matches where he struggles, but then it’s got he got a team and still then he are good a binding opponent making space for other players. But he will also have matches where he scores 2-3 goals.
He got some bad habits where he need to learn, when to pass, when to dribble and when to take risks.
But MU will have lots of focus on that and he is a really fast student.

When you look at his lest season performance you managed not to understand that many of those games he didn’t play full time.
Also it’s easier to keep a high level and develop fast if you play almost every match, and he will unless some other signing comes in. I doubt it will, but then ofcause he might not do as well as I expect.

I think he will be top-5 goal scorer in the PL, maybe already this season but if not in the next.
